As Creators, we are hungry for inspiration, excited for technical exploration and filled with curiosity, keeping in mind the nature of sensitivity. To explore more, could imply many things including travelling multiple ways, to the same space we want our work to be in (project openings, channels, mediums, events and exhibitions, community activities, workshops, courses, residencies, collaborations and so on). Notwithstanding subjective situations, one could call it experimentation for creation through exploration.
Inherently, the urge to deepen the concept, process, knowledge, meaning and eventually the impact holds together this exploration and this could have powerful consequential ramifications (with its viewing experience). Explorations could take different shapes and be of varied nature even if emerging from similar or duplicated roots. One needs to find that clarity in origin to track it down if necessary to chronicle or document the preparation, process, learnings and impact.
The beauty lies in discovering for ourselves, the nature, meaning, creation, experience and memory of that which is perceived. We could say that curiosity sparks interest and that ignites the engine of exploration which then powers the car of experimentation to become strong and run in the most suitable, efficient, effective and versatile fashion.
What each of us term as experimentation along with the subjective topics, intensities, schedules, time periods and objectives, will by default, be diverse. But, the exploration is a win when the conviction to the curiosity is cherished and cherished completely!
