Finding inspiration can happen just about anytime, anywhere. The nature of inspiration and finding inspiration in nature, for me, go hand in hand. Nature is incredibly inspiring! From the tiniest drop of dew to the vast expansive skies. The incredible scale and diversity in nature remains unmatched.
As creators, if we tend to look carefully, literally everything we look at has an idea / ideas cocooned inside. For that idea to grow, evolve and develop to experience, they look to find spaces (tangible or intangible) and we could provide our very own environments and atmospheres to make it happen. Have you ever thought of whether you find inspiration, or it finds you? Whether you find an idea, or it finds you? Well, this might seem interconnectedly synonymous but it’s probably not so. I feel we somewhere experience a combination of both maybe, where sometimes the inspirations and ideas happen to find us and organically flow through us (seamlessly) and sometimes, we consciously seek them out, then activating our creative juices.
Innately, we, as Creators reflect on our processes as our core path to creation. Does this originate from inspiration or stem from ideas? Well, we are probably constantly and randomly inspired before, during and even after the practical processes of executing a work. We ideate throughout, so much so that when we look at the work, every single time, new thoughts rush through; ideas and inspiration are ever dynamic.
Finding inspiration, therefore, can happen just about anytime anywhere!
