Of Longing and Legacy — Hunger to know more, curiosity to learn more, longing to create more and exploring possibilities to experience more are inherently human traits which we as Creators tend to delve into as well, for depth and understanding.

The thoughts of where we come from, who we are and where we go have often been spoken about in the arts. Having stolen the minds and arts of multiple artists, the longing to create a legacy while we are here creating, is but natural. When there is collective resonance and response, it is a reward to the maker. An award to a creation.

In the process of creating, different tangents could lead to creating legacies. The sense of longing to reach a better place, whatever the definition be to an artist, each to their own; is probably based fundamentally on growth and meaning. A truthful process between creator and craft.

The world has its own definitions for mastery, profoundness, resonance and memorability. But I feel what has built artistic legacy effortlessly in the hearts of people has been authenticity and soul.
