What brings an artist to become The Artist in the hearts of people is a fresh sensibility, something that is new that is being spoken about with relative freshness and their work and what they’re trying to make or break with their work. The sensibility of an artist is what people connect with, is what people resonate with and is what people ultimately buy, or not. An Artist’s sensibility could have various stages of evolution, phases of creation, changes in mindset, trajectories in evolving style and harmony / conflict in conception.
The addition and subtraction in known and unknown elements or the continued / scattered sense of thematic prospects that come with the various facets of creation, conception and reflection upon beginning, the course work and completion are all integral to deriving as well as driving the artistic sensibility. The intricacies both intangibly and practically become all the more significant when there is an inherent sense of necessity and quest to find one’s artistic sensibility.
What artistic sensibilities entail are constituted of an amalgamation of various forces such as the origin of an idea, the visual translation of it through surface, through medium, through process, through research, through execution, through production and refinement until fully ready to be deemed fine enough to put out. The deftness with which one handles the bigger parts of a Creation is what ultimately gets picked up by the viewers in order to experience the work and it becoming memorable to them. Over the course of time, what tends to happen is that the impressions collected become embedded experiences and the memories collected form deep rooted perception criterion to assess and experience art works not only when it is viewed to experience, but when it is remembered to remain / stay, and be lived with, through their minds and hearts. That’s when it reigns supreme and becomes special to the world, their worlds!
