Inverted and Illusive
This painting is inspired by the Kathopanishad.
The illusion of life spreads its magnanimous branches into the universe with its evergreen roots of depth, freedom and meticulousness!
The lines represent flow of energies and dynamism!
The inevitable connection of the elements of water and fire (Jalam and Agni) too are represented in the painting.
With the roots requiring nourishment through water and the foliage requiring the sun to nurture itself and grow!
The inverted banyan tree signifies power of giving, nurturing life, depth of creation and layered nuances with its complex ramifications of life and death – a cyclical symbolism of the Kala Chakra.
