Baarish: The Ravaging Rains – Jal
The rains bless our land with fresh water, cold in temperature, cooling the air and the smell of the mud. How wonderful! This abstract painting depicts whirling clouds holding the wealth of precipitation which then elegantly pours onto our lands as rain. The flowy lines in this abstract painting represent how the raindrops place themselves in rhythm with their aural impact and just so precise, not to overlap, intersect and have that weight evaporarting as they come down in lightness drop by drop. The flowy lines coming down from the clouds also symbolise a consistent amount of rainfall where even the aural impact and gradual intensity of showers are on equals or at par with a consistently cool sky that is unconventionally blue instead of a grey.
