Orchestrated Ocean
The rough texture in the abstract painting, of patches of the various tints of blue and green in the composition depict some rough waves of the ocean where the might and power, sheer depth and volume come to a majestic display for us to realise actually what these water bodies hold. The strokes and intricate contrasts created resemble the day and night cycles in the ocean and have a string of cold, cool but dynamic emotion. The reason the word ‘orchestrated’ has been used here is because the waves have a rhythm to them. One that is a given, an aural characteristic and a huge part of the identity of waves. that they hit andf recede and hit and recede. This is a metaphor in terms of how and who orchestrates the rhythm and quantification of these waves.
