A Cool Planet
Drawing inspiration off the waters of Antarctica, this abstract painting showcases the cold, icy, dark, still but powerful nature of the oceans, the ice, the temporal aspects and much more. The texture is done in a way in which the movemnt and dynamic in the painting are very internal and insular to within the boundaries of the work itself. This is largely because of how unexplored and isolated these waters are from common life and inhibited regions in the world’s other parts. It is almost like Antarctica is a planet of its own with its visual nature, temperature, temperatures and energies. A Cool Planet. A Planet of its own.
