– The Sparsha Story –

Welcome to Sparsha by Radhika. We are an art studio located in Bengaluru, established 2020. At Sparsha, we create abstract paintings that are conceptually deep, executed meticulously, with an unconventional lens using lines and texture, for HNI homes and commercial spaces. We also create Customised Paintings to suit the specific needs of Clients and Spaces as needed.

The Sparsha Way at its core embraces conceptual depth, meticulous execution and well-rounded research, creating the energies that the stakeholders want to feel in designated spaces, effectively.
Every painting has energy, and energy is what tells the spatial story. The story of the space, the story of a painting. Find your colourful story at Sparsha today

The Artist – Meet Radhika

Radhika is a practicing artist (abstract painter) from India. With her work, Radhika explores the materiality of mediums to conceptually convey the intangible. Drawing inspiration from her roots, her works dwell deep into human perception, life energies and nature’s splendour. Painting has always been an integral part of life for her since her childhood.

Turning her art interest into a professional pursuit, Radhika graduated with her BA Hons. in Fine Art from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Preston, UK in 2020 and Diploma in Fine Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore in 2019.
Having begun exhibiting paintings for sale, in Bengaluru in 2013, she has been actively servicing customised painting requirements for corporate office paintings and paintings for homes of Clients since 2015. The mediums she works with, are acrylic and oil on canvas.

Radhika’s cultural roots, the mechanics of human perception, characteristics of life energies and nature’s splendour endlessly inspire her to create. Her works aim at offering not only individual experiences but also collective ambience that are mentally and emotionally immersive for viewers to experience.

The yogic sciences, global art history, philosophy and the historic greatness of the land that she comes from, have lent and continue to lend Radhika immense inspiration.

A few of the art movements from around the world that inspire her are post-impressionism, abstract expressionism, cubism and fauvism.”

Painting of the Month

Maya I The Illusion of Life

Life itself is illusion!

Here, the eye symbolises our perspective and outlook to life which is signified by the vibrant, fiery hibiscus, which itself floats amidst the illusionary lines which when seen from lateral angles reflect a blurred movement of strokes in one direction while a clear array of strokes in the other, though when seen from the face of the work, all strokes are painted the same way.

That’s the illusion!

The complex layers of tapestries of the past are immensely deep in terms of a plethora of aspects. Ageing narratives shape themselves in a profound manner over time with shifting sands and flowing waters. The importance of histories in spaces being preserved, known, and understood over time, make everything more nuanced, deep, and intrinsically intense.

Colourful Stories

The conceptual abstract paintings created at Sparsha tell energetic colourful stories, what’s the story that you see? Come find out!”

The Sparsha Process –

At Sparsha, we create exclusive abstract paintings – with distilled concepts and meticulous execution.

Starting with superior quality stretched canvas, we use premium branded acrylic and oil paints for our creations. Initial coat of primer binds the paint and canvas, upon which multiple lush coats of paint are applied, to-a-plan, line-by-line with love and attention, nourishing our paintings.

The paintings are layered with varnish upon drying, to seal and protect them from weathering. Upon varnishing, the paintings go in for framing where they are floated into premium quality frames, ready for installation. At Sparsha, we create Abstract Paintings, mainly Acrylic on Canvas, servicing HNI Homes and Commercial Spaces.

We also do Customisation of Paintings to suit the specific needs of Clients / Spaces. We create exhibit paintings on selected themes and concepts, that may resonate with Clients to take them up; we also create Customised paintings to the specific needs of Clients and Spaces as needed. Every detail is attended to, with in-depth inspections at each stage, to deliver creations of high quality – each creation being exclusive to its taker – one and only of its kind! ”
